Yesterday my "Engine Service Soon" warning light came on. I read in the manual that there is two types of problems that it can be. One being in a blinking mode or the other a steady mode. Mine is in the steady mode. I dropped the vehicle off this morning to Nissan and got the run around about a engine diagnostic test that needed to be done. Has anyone else on this site ever had this problem? Is there a reset button for it? By the way the vehicle only has 37,000 miles on it. Also I checked the gas cap just to make sure that it was on securely and it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated cuz I don't wanna get raped by the dealer.....Thanks........

 

Well ... you've just given Nissan some more money, but that's ok.

Next time the Check Engine light comes on, do the diagnosis yourself.
