A cheapskates question about A/T pan bolts...
For those who have removed/replaced the A/T's pan for filter replacement or whatever, can the bolts be reused using gasket sealer or teflon tape on the threads? The FSM for my '96 says to use new bolts because they are self sealing but if some kind of sealer on the threads will work, I'd like to know. Also, does the new filter come with a pan gasket? Usually they do.
Thanks, Mark
