That pop charger you have doesnt do anyhting. You have to change all the tubes from throttle body to get the full effect. Looks good for home made adapter.

Not the hoses but the tubes from TB. Its made out of plastic and very restrictive. Why do you think CAI is louder?

 

Nice. That place seem like a good place to do some "testing".

 

The CIA is louder because the stock pipe has a resonator in it to reduce intake noise. Besides, changing all the pipes doesn't make it a CAI. It has to go into the fender well were the air is cooler than under the hood. Some here actually dyno'd a stock intake vs CIA and found that the SI made 2 more HP!
