problem

problem

aight.dude got me the wrong adapter so i had to drill it.and i just took off the top part of the filter box and put the cone in.am i supposed to take off the whole unit to get better sound or will it sound the same?

i took out the whole stock air box...but left that piece that actually sucked air in...don't know what it's called. it sounds good the way i have it though...i don't think it really matters

If this is what your question is about dynamicmax, Jepht20 is right. Leave the lower resonator in place. Not only does it provide extra air to the intake, but it keeps the intake from falling of as other people have had problems with.

Yes take out the whole stock box. I had to drill in to my custom bracket, its really not a big dea.

I don't see why you took out the lower portion of the intake box - please explain. As for the "bracket," are you reffering to the intake adapter or some fabricated piece to hold the intake up because the lower portion of the stock airbox is gone?

i got it a Ace, it was some eletrical bracket.
