A friend of mine wants to sell me two 15" Rockford Fosgate punch xlc subs and a punch 250 watt amp for $275. It sounds like a good deal to me. What do you all think. Also, if I but them does anyone know where i can find a box for them or have instructions of how to make one. Just wondering.

Good deal but:
1) Check if the equipment works. Better if it's still hooked into his system you can see if the subs or amp has been busted.
2) Check the equipment for serial #s. Scratched off means ripped off.

 

thas a bargain - but that amp wont be able to support both of those subs

 

He said the amp would bridge to 500 amps. I'm not a speaker expert so I don't know how well it would really work. That is what is pushing them now. I'm thinking about selling one of them and keeping the other one. I think one of them will bump pretty good.

 

how many ohms when its bridged 4?? also 500 watts bridged still isent enough for 17 inch subs. second if it were me i would just get 12 inch subs cause 15 inch subs respond a lot slower. like the bass and the regular music are gonna be off. its hard to explain when you have a bad hangover like me right now but somebody help me with this. i know im right i just cant explain it good. but deff get 12s
