I need help!! My outter door handle on the driver side is coming out literally, like someone tried to pop it out. I look and saw no damage (paint scratched). Now I can not open my drivers side door. I tried the search engine but found no information on how to fix the problem. Thanks for any help you can give?

 

Take off the inside door panel and you'll see the handle exposed from the inside. Tighten up the two retention bolts on each side. Hopefully, this should cure your problem.

 

I have the same problem and will see if this takes care of it.
Is the black molding around the outside of the door handle assembly "self-sealing" just from the tightness of the retention bolts or do I need to put something on it to seal it?

 

I believe the black molding around the outside door handle is part of the handle itself. It should tighten flush with the door when the retention bolts are fastened.
