ecu code 04 03.knock sensor.what do i do???

Actually, isn't it 03 04?

I'd reset the ECU. Recheck it a couple of starts later. If it still has a 03 04, replace it. Supposedly, you can check the sensor for continuity with an Ohm-meter. It's supposed to have a really high resistance, on the order of M Ohms. If it is infinity, then supposedly it's bad. Of course, you cant just pull the harness and measure from the two leads because only one lead goes to the sensor. Measure the signal lead and the ground from the car (the KS case is grounded). Tested mine today and it was bad.

your right it is 03 04 i made a mistake.is it supposed to go away after i reset it? how much does a new one cost?
