Changing my tranny oil and .....oh no!

I was changing my transmission oil today since it was long overdue. Talk about some bad luck. I ended up stripping the bolt on the drain plug that thing was on so darn tight. I have read in past threads that Nissan puts this on too tight, but geez :eek. So, what made things even worse: I decided to drain it by using the park neutral position switch instead. I took the screw out and lightly pryed out the sensor housing with a screwdriver and the plastic snapped into two pieces. Oil comes rushing out (much faster than I expected) all over me and the floor. So now my sensor is broken. I called Nissan earlier this week to find out how much the o-ring was for it and it's about $100 dollars because I was told I have to by the whole sensor and it isn't even in stock! So now I'm stuck without a car until atleast Tuesday. Isn't life great!? I just had to vent. Anyone else ever had any problems like this?
