maximum nitrous?

maximum nitrous?

ppl may i have u'r attention plzz!!!

i have a big race in a week or so, so i wana know what is the highest hp jet i can place on my dry kit? i've already changed my fuel pump (welbro 255). is it better 2 change the kit 2 a wet kit if i wana go 4 really high hp's?
p.s. i'm using stock internals and my intake manifold is aluminum.

well 2 tell u the truth sometimes i wish i never bought my max but most of the time i thank god that i have . she never puts me down, that's what i like about my 98max. anyways back 2 the point, i wanna know what is the best i can make out of it using NOS?

Um, aluminum IS metal. The stock block, heads and entire intake are aluminum...

i've heard people running a 100 shot with no problem(stock internals)

I believe the highest I heard was 125 shot on stock internals.

well 125 is good enough i guess, but what is the jet size and how much fuel pressure will i need?

Stick with a 100 shot. .047 jet. Fuel jet will depend on your car, I used a .072 to get 85 psi of fuel pressure, but it all depends on your car. I hope you have changed your spark plugs also. Nitrous Oxide is not plug and play, it takes careful tuning. If you think you can just slap it on and run, you are asking for trouble, and will probably be buying a new motor soon. Make sure you have a FP guage and a good EGT, a bottle heater, and don't use it in 4th gear (auto) or 5th gear (5spd). If you screw up for even a few seconds at this level of Nitrous, kiss your motor goodbye. Good luck and play it safe.
