Which tire size is better

I need to get tires for my 18 and what size do you guys think I should get 235-40-18 or 245-40-18. I decided to go with Kuhmo tire.

Even though most or members would recommend 235/40 to keep your odometer in spec I would say go for 245/40 from a looks point of view.

I have 18X8" rims and the 235 size seems a bit too small.

Depends on the width of the rim. With 18X7, 225/40/18. With 18X7.5, 235/40/18. With 18X8 or 18X8.5, 245/40/18.

As he posted above you can fit 235/40 and 245/40 on a 18x8, I use to have 235/40 and man that tire was pretty thin, I didnt like it, it looked like a I had 225/40 18 thats how small the tirewall looked so I went up to a 245/40 18 and I am loving the looks. My opinion and advice to you go with 245/40 18, .2 or .3mm will not throw your speedometer off that much, less miles on the car as well, and more tire on the road which is better and it will look better and bigger.
