Im running a 2 1/2" flowmaster 3-chamber muffler and I like the sound alot. I know its a muffler made for domestics, but its great...and its ALOT cheaper than any import muffler (I think around $60-80).

If I had a sound clip, I'd show you....hmm, maybe I'll make one...

Yes, please make a soundclip! Where did you get this muffler? Also, do you have a pic of it on the car?

My car is in the shop until friday but I'll see if I can make one up on the weekend.

Speaking of sound clips, it'd be nice to hear some that anyone might have, to get an idea of what all the exhaust setups out there sound like.

I have an Exhaust that would be perfect for what you want! Not too loud, and it looks sweet! It's a powertech w/ 3" Dual Tips... Here's a link to the picture on my car, and off my car...

http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel...PT1012muff.jpg

It's new, and already has the hangers installed on it for a 4th gen. All you would have to do is have a muffler shop weld it on...

I'm asking $100 Shipped...

Also, here is a sound clip on how it sounds... http://www.geocities.com/dsuthar/exhaust
click on revving.mpg
Nice and throaty...

The sound clip is from another .org member who has the exact muffler, but My Maxima sounds the exact same. I believe it is loudest between 2000-3500 RPM

Also, if you want this muffler to be really loud, remove the factory resonator (pre-muffler)... and it will roar!

don't forget to get a y-pipe. You won't see much or any gain if your keep your stock y-pipe in there and just change the exhaust.
