hey guys...im planning on getting 18's for my black max this summer...what do u guys suggest on tire width?....secondly...what finish do u think would compliment my car best...chrome, silver, gun metal, opal?...ur input is greatly appreciated...thanx yall

anyway, you shoudl go with silver rims...in my opinion, chrome is too much...most of the cars around here with chrome rims are really old, huge gas guzzling american cars with plenty of rust but really shiny chrome rims. black rims/gun metal makes your car look like its got steelies from far away. silver looks great against a black car...

I'm thinking about putting some black opal konig verdicts on my black maxima.Still thinking if i should or just go with silver

 

i like silver too , it makes the car look "clean" overall. but if you got a gxe or gle, like i do, wouldn't chrome also look pretty good becuz they have chrome trim around the windows, chrome handles and chrome on the factory grill. i'm planning to get chrome rims to match all that. it'll match even more if i eventually put the trenz grill on.

 

i have a GXE and i got chrome rims so it matches the door handles and window trim....

but if u dont have the GXE model i say get silver rims.

 

Go with the Chrome, if thats what you decide Giovanni makes some really sweet rims.

 

i think im gonna go with the chromies cuz i have the gle with the chrome accents....the new wheels should set it off just right...i appreciate the input guys...oh yeah...by the way...u guys got any nice links to sites with nice chrome rim choices for my max...THANX

245/40 18 tires as posted in my sig if not then go with 235/40 18

If it is a good quality wheel it will cost you so that will determine if you get chrome silver or opal, if you have the money get chrome!!!!if not then go for silver and if you have no other choice then go with the opal.

do it right the first time go with 18x8 thats a nice ideal size dont go with 18x7 or 18x7.5 for gods sake my wifes small car takes a 7 width go with a 8 width, you can go up on tires or stay at 235 if your not happy.

 

cool...yeah...hopefully i'll be able to afford nice chrome wheels...whats a ballpark price that i should be looking at to spend on them?..i mean...i dont want anything insanelyexpensive..i just want a decent pair of rims with a reputable name...thanx
