My new mod... well Thule

well my birthday was yesterday, and the max got something new. a Thule rack with 2 bike mounts. Im pumped.. haha, and its the new bike mounts that hold bikes with disc brakes. all slick and so much better looking then the old "all black" trays. well that is my mod.

Make sure you wash and wax the areas on the roof the Thule rack's rubber feet will be sitting on. If not, you run the risk of scratching up the finish in those four spots. Also, I would advise you to get the fairing. Without it, there was a lot of wind noise with my ski mounts. Once I put the fairing on, the noise was cut down by about half. Finally, if you do buy the fairing, mount it as far forward as you can, making sure it's rubber edge piece sits on the top of your windshield, and not on the roof.
