Can I........

hi i was wondering can i switch a ecu from a 99 gle to my 98 gxe? this will eliminate the 125 limiter and rev limiter... can this be done?

Yes you can. SE ones work too. Make sure it matches the specs of your car. I.e. California of Federal. To tell it it it California spec, look at the front bank of the engine Valve Cover. If you see four harnesses in front of your engine its Cali spec. If there are only two, its Federal. Make sure that you and your donor car have the same spec.

Try to stick to the same model year when doing ECU switches. They always do tweaks from year to year and putting a newer one in a older car may cause some issues.

thanx guys for the great info ill check them both out.... ill have him come by one day b4 he sells his car and ill drive it see if it works,

do either of u know what signs i should be looking for to see if the car responds to the ecu ? ie- top speed, ??
