Q? About Tightening Spark Plugs..

Since I don't have a torque wrench, how should tight should I go when tightening them? Thx.

About as tight as you can tighten them with a 3/8 ratchet with one hand, with your hand positioned over the end of the ratchet. ie closest to the extension so you have minimum torque. I have used this technique for years with 2 strokes, which have been pretty much aluminum since the 70's. Once you get a feel for it or use a torque wrench a couple of times its pretty easy. However, if you have a strong arm and pop bolts all the time don't do it, get a torque wrench.

Tighten it until it starts to strip, then back it off a half turn.
