lookin for a summer job that makes good money...money for the max...anyone have good ideas?? anything helps!!

 

yeah, i'm looking for a job too...i just turned in my application today for mediaplay and circuit city, and did best buy a little while ago...hopefully i'll get a job somewhere, but being 16 doesn't help too much

Easiest place to get a job: Fast food restaurant. If your young that is, they hire people all the time, and you usually make around $6 an hour. Good place to start.

Life guard = girls, beach, water, decent pay.. my friend makes 20$/hr at a private pool.. but you need some sort of certification or license.
Waiter/bartender = probably minimum wage but with tips expect 15-25$ / hr easy.

Like others suggested, Circuit city and other Department stores...

hmm if u can, since u drive, try to see if you can get a job in valet parking, usually all u need is a license, be able to drive stick, and work sum crazy hours late at catering halls till like 4 in da morning sumtimes...but its a real good part time job, u make good tips, and best of all, u get to drive sum REAL NICE CARS!! i kno i shouldnt say this on the maxima forum, but i used to hate driving my max home after having a night of valet parking driving S500's and lex's and beamers and porsches and especially if i got to occsaionally drive a stick max!! i did this job when i was 17 and a senior in high school by da way, dunno if its a great summer job, but they look for help at places like catering halls, golf resorts and country clubs(espcially in summer), restaurants, clubs, etc

 

If you're gonna get a no-brainer job with absolutely no real hard work, try working in a movie theater as a projectionist. You get to watch free movies, eat junk food, and make big $$$ (well, $12-25/hr, depends if you're union or not). And you can trade passes at local restaurants for free food or even free stuff. Works all the time.

Plus hot chicks are ALWAYS going to the movies, I always mentioned that I can get them and their friends to see a movie before release (except SW:EPI cause George Lucas said no early previews, which means NO EARLY PREVIEWS!). I used to do this a while back. Now I make some much $$$ it's ri-*******-diculous.

 

Yes, that is perfect since tips would be huge. A guy I know happens to put all of his money in his Civic from tips from valet parking at country club. It funny when he sees something he likes for his car and gets it within that same week, and it's big things such a GSR motor and a new paint job.

 

Hey we have the same birthday, don't know how old you are though...that would help me findout if its going to be a good one as in 18 or 21 or a bad one as in 40 or something...anyway mine will be good. you should get a job at a catering hall or something that does weddings...it usually is like $10 per hour plus any table tips for drinks or whatever..the more bling the place the more money you make...most people think you have to give up your whole weekend but you don't. Most time you can work fri and sun night or sun brunch or anything and its a really cool way to meet people because everybody hangs out together after work, therefore its easy to make friends and you can also meet girls or guys whatever your into at the partys and they will be scoping you out too. they will probably have a few drinks in them and you know what can happen...at most catering halls you only have to be 16 to waiter and thats in strict ny. you should really consider it. OH Yeah...and you don't need experience!

 

There's a great job that lets you travel all over for free usually with all expenses paid....

Well if yuou are good at wasing/detailing cars then thats perfect...I do abotu 2 or 3 cars a week besides work, 5 coats of wax, steam the inside etc and if you do a good job people tell other peopel and word gets around. I also advertise etc and plan on hiring people to do the work for me, haha...having people work for me, making $ and still being under 17

 

working for the city. My friend got an internship at a police station. Lets say he doesnt get many tickets anymore. He also got something like 17 bucks an hour.
