Beat a 02 Mustang

Last night coming home from a concert, my friend rolls up next to me and says, hey you wanna race? I go sure but you will probably beat me since my car is running like sh*t. So I torque brake the automagic and when the lights turn green I launched it perfectly, no tire squeel. I had about a half a car length ahead of him by 1st gear, but when I shifted into 2nd I gained 2 car lengths, (he shifted into 2nd before me) so finally at the end of the race I had about 2-21/2 car lengths on him and shut it down. It was a V6 but had an air intake and a cat back exhaust vs. my stock maxima. I was definatly suprised!

I think I would have to sell my car if I lost to a V6 mustang (without a lot of work done to it)

but good kill since you are an auto

I'd sell my car if I lost to a modded V6 stang.

Wow that is impressive!
Any one catch the 2 and 21/2 car length victory?
Nothing like a good 'ol fashion 12.5 car length whoopin.

Sorry, I'm a smartass I can't help it

99-2001 V6 auto stangs will do 0-60 in about 8, which is only like .1-.2 slower than the 2k AUTO max with it's revv limiter.

The sad thing is the 99-01 v6 5spd stang will do 0-60 in 7, which is JUST as fast as the 2k-2k1 Minima
