konig tantrums - center caps dont fit in rear, (pics)

Look at these two pics, and tell me what looks wrong -

thats right, no center "KONIG" wheel caps on the rear wheels, because they dont fit. I have heard before, "remove the dustcaps and they will fit", but what exactly does that mean? How do I do that? My friend steve just got tantrums too and wants to know - I know other people have dealt with this before - help us out, thanks.

You can try using a mallet to gently crush the little metal cover that is blocking the cap from fitting. Just try to bend it in a little so the cap will fit.

Brandon, can you go into more detail? So that gold metal piece that sticks out pops off? Ive tried to pry it off but didnt have much luck.

the same thing happened to me. I just took a hammer and a flat head screw driver and i popped it out. I put it back on when I put my stock wheels back on for the winter time.
