I used it, 10W30 Syntec blend. but Bill's oil analysis may soon have me switching though. Probably to Mobil 0 drive clean blend 10W30.

I don't use true sytnthetic simply because I will drop the oil at 5000 miles. Kindof a waste if using true synthetic.

Synthetic blends are a total waste of money, that's been proven time and time again. Added expense and nothing else.

If you want synthetic.... go full synthetic. Like Mobil 1, Valvoline full sythn, Redline, Amsoil, etc...

I've used Mobil 1 5w30 since my car was new. There are NO deposits or varnish inside the engine. Pretty cool.

It is a lot more expensive though and really probably not worth it if you are running normal (i.e. not racing or SC'd) and doing 5k or less oil changes.

But that's up to you...

I used Castrol 10W-30 for years. Never had a problem. I switched to the Synthetic blend and had my oil tested by Blaskstone Labs. Much to my suprise, the Synthetic blend DID NOT protect my engine as good as dino Castrol did. I have now switched to Amsoil 10W-30.
