Knock senor and O2 sensor questoin
Ok, i have a bad knock sensor and a bad rear heated o2 sensor according to the diagnostic that i did. here's the question: i heard that one can cause the other. so a bad ks can cause the O2 code to go off or a bad O2 sensor can set the ks code. which is which? i rather replace one than both. i did search but didn't find the answer.

Replace eaither or, they cost the same, don't replace them both, then see which diagnostic code goes away, and if they both do, then problem solved, if not, you'll prolly need to buy the other sensor. I'd say get the KS, 110 dollars at www.thepartsbin.com

Yep - KS first
I agree - start with the KS, reset the ECU and wait a few days to see if you get the o2 code again.
Another approach, depending on your model year - there was a recall for o2 sensors a few years ago. If it hasn't already been taken in for that - you may want to see your dealer and possibly get the o2 sensor installed for free.
And then wait a few days to see if the KS code comes back.
