Where is the MAP sensor

Does anyone know where the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor)
is located on a 96 GLE.

The Haynes manual says "at the rear (transaxle end) of the left-bank (front) cylinder head."

The MAP sensor is mounted next to the MAP solenoid valve. The solenoid valve has 3 hoses and a brown electrical connector, the MAP sensor itself has a black electrical connector.

The actual sensor is that little black thing mounted onto your intake scoup. It says right on the sensor "Boost Sensor". It reads both manifold pressure and atmospheric pressure depending on what the ECU tells the solenoid valve to open.
