Micron air filter is not possible...pics

Micron air filter is not possible...pics

Well i decided remove the glove box and see what i could find out from there. Basically no such way even a retrofit could happen. You would need to replace the entire unit. In one of the pics i am pointing to where a micron filter would slide in, there are no perferations or anything like that. So to end all hope i post these pics(95-96 at least).

Pics are dial up friendly =)


First pic is a diagram of the unit and where the filter should slide in, the rest is my car.

That's not the filter in the second picture, it is either the heater core or AC evaporator core. The foam is the insulation around the core.

4th gens do not have any air filtration system other than the screens on the hood air intake at the base of the windshield, and the small grilles within the air vents.

yes u are right, thing is still that the micron filter still goes in the same place, regardless of that is it. You can tell that by the url pic(first one)
