the side windows are not hard, but the rear glass is what you gotta worry about, don't want to mess up the defrost lines.

www.tintdude.com might have some helpful info on all your questions

even if you take teh old tints out urself, you still have to take off teh glue that was tehre from teh old tints and that is very , VERY hard. i easily took off my old tints but damn taking teh sticky stuff is so damn hard. teh tint shop charged me extra 60 bucks to clean that sticky stuff. they were gonna charge me 100 to take the tints off and clean it.

I second the concern about the rear defogger lines. Use amonia, a blow dryer and an exacto-knife with extreme caution if you do it yourself. Good luck.

Try this for the rear window.

First cut a garbage bag the size of the rear window. Then spray ammonia all over the tint. Set the garbage bag on the inside of the window and allow it to "stick" to the ammonia. Let the car sit in the sun for a while. Finally remove everything and start peeling off the tint. Just take your time.

Most tint is made of two layers of material. If you aren't careful only one layer will peel off leaving the other layer and glue stuck to the window.

I did the same thing to my wife's car and it worked great. Just make sure you spray a lot of amoinia on the windows you don't want it to dry out. good luck...

Just like everyone says..
Use Amonia on back window... Make sure not drop any amonia on interior of the car or it can change the color of your interior..

Other 4 windows... Just peel it off.. and use some Simple Green to take the glue off of safe way... or use Amonia just like back window.

use a razor on a scraper to remove the film. paint thinner for the glue will take it right off. just be real careful with the defrost element.

I removed my tint about a month ago! What I did was peal it off and scraped the remaining glue off with a razor and some stuff I bought at pepboys, worked just fine but took to long. The stuff I bought at pepboys, cant remember the name, but on the tint isle says you can spray it on the inside w/tint on and wait like an hour and peel it off perfectly, I was a little late to try this, already peeled it off . Hope this helps!
