No 194 In Red/Clear Tails

i'm wondering if it would be fine if i don't put a bulb in the 194 socket for the taillights? will i have any problems not having it there? will cops hassle me just because i don't have that red color on the side of the car?

I put in red LEDs in there. Works awesome. Clear when off, shines a true deep red when on.

I took it off. I think it looks cleaner with all red on top and all clear down the bottom. Looks kinda funny with all red on top and a little bulb on the bottom side. And no hassle from the cops yet and it's been over a year.

I have a hyperwhite in mine. Got pulled over once for it because you can see the hyperwhite light from behind, which is not legal I guess. I dont care, it looks good, people know I'm not going in reverse when Im driving forward in front of them.

dont worry about it, cops have no idea about it. i was thinking of making it blink with the regular turn signal as well to give it better brightness.

there's a reason why u got pulled over for the hyperwhite
cus u can't have white light in the rear except when in reverse
which makes it illegal to have white light on in the rear when ure
not reversing

Yes I know that, thats why I said that people know Im not going in reverse when Im driving forward. I understand the law and wasn't disputing it, Im just saying that I dont see the harm in it. Not like having blinding HIDs or something.
