Painting black chrome altezzas

Has anyone painted the light outline around their black chrome altezzas?? I have a black max and I want the black chromes but the light outline is NaStY!!!

I'm sorta in the same boat...the black chromes don't look too bad to me, it's just that chrome outline that needs to be done away with...but oh well, hopefully someone will try it
