Question on Rims

I am just wondering. If you go into a shop to buy some new rims, do some shops allow you to sell them your old rims, and then that money would be discounted off the sale of the new rims? Just wondering, because it would suck to have the old rims sitting in the garage doing nothing, when they could be saving you a few bucks

thanks
bryan

No, as a general rule they won't. Its hard to sell used wheels, and they don't want to deal with it.

Why would you be without wheels for a week? Buy new ones first, then sell the old ones...

Depending on where you live, you might want to keep them...
IN the great white north, we keep the stocks and put snow tires on them... use the stocks in the winter and the other rims in the summer. That way, the good ones aren't runied in the snow, and you have good snow tires that you only use in the winter.

Actually you said you have much money, which is why I was confused and didn't respond. Next time try: Yo necesito mucho dinero.
