Cracked foglight lens

The other day I noticed my driver's side foglight lens was cracked, but it still lights up at night, should I replace this a.s.a.p or until my foglight doesn't light up anymore?

Price replacement foglights. Once you've recovered from sticker shock, wait 'till it starts collecting water or you find a deal on one. Good luck. None of the junk yards in my area ever seem to have these.

You'll eventually lose the bulb due to weather comming in contact w/ it. I have a 95 Maxima and the drivers lens got a crack in it too. I bought the replacement from Courtesy for nearly $100 if I remeber right. I couldn't get just the lens. I got the whole housing. I think a whole new fog kit is less. Oh well live and learn. You might want to check Ebay or post a wanted to buy in the parts forum. Good luck.

If you're asking meit was a rock. I had a hole and some cracking in my lense. I am running 85 watt bulbs, when they're supposed to be 55 watts but I didn't have any problems for 1 1/2 years. I have glass lenses on my car though. I think the later Maxs switched to plastic lenses.

Most likely a rock must've hit it, I'd doubt it that I have overwattage bulbs in my fog lights
