low idle after changing fuel filter

hey i changed my fuel filter last week, and ever since i put a new one in, my idle has been rather low, lie around 500 while in drive, and 600 in neutral..im an auto by the way..my car shakes a bit when im at a light...it was a brand new nissan OEM filter, and i changed it perfectly, and i havent seen any leaks...i took off the airbox(stock) and the other tube between the airbox and throttle body, so that way i can reach the filter easier..and i put it back the same way i always have and i dont think i messed up putting the airbox back together...so has this ever happened to anyone?? any suggestions

idle problem

Don't know if it is related but I had a low idle problem after cleaning my throttle body. Then thanks to a thread about "high idle" I cleaned my Idle Air Control valve. Now my idle is perfect. Do a search for the "high idle" thread. There are great directions there for cleaning the IAC valve which will probably solve your problem. You may need to clean your throttle body as well (if you have not done so recently).

Good point! I've switched mine twice and had no problems afterward.
