97 GLE vs. 94 Lexus GS300 (auto)

My friend just bought a 1994 Lexus GS 300 and he wants to race, can i beat him???
I have a 1997 GLE, auto, with 18" chrome rims, 2 12" subs, and a K&N WAI.
His is an auto, too, and he has 20" chrome rims.

It will be close with all the "bling-bling" and "boom-boom". Just hope a stock Maxima doesn't pull up next to you all!

Well i have never lost a race, well actually 1 to a trans am, but i'm not counting that, so i need to be sure i can beat him. Cause i don't want to loose, especially to him.

Bro I was just playin', they run low 9s 0-60 MpH. You should be able to take him easily even with the audio equipment and wheels.

The GS isn't exactly light. Taken from www.car-stats.com:
'94 Lexus GS300 0-60MpH: 9.4 seconds
'94 Lexus GS300 1/4mile: 16.8 seconds

The Maxima is more than a second faster in both of those tests.

Well you see, i was expecting a race, i'm half blind so i didn't see the light turn green, i had 8 1/2 people in my car, a full tank of gas, bricks in my trunk for building a dog house, and 7 boxes of books/clothing i was going to deliver to the homeless.....

Don't worry man. My dad has a 94 GS300 and my max feels like a race car compared to it. It is so sluggish you will have no problems beating him.
