Custom Exaughst

Will somebody tell me if making my own exaughst is a good idea. I'm going to take out the Cat. Conv. and I wanna put a racing straight pipe in, then I wanna replace everything from there, back....I might wanna put just a glass pack or a good racing muffler on..I'm shooting for about $300...will somebody please tell me the best configuration..thanx

Y-pipe -> 2.5" mandrel bent piping all the way to -> Straight through style muffler.
Of course, you wont be passing emissions this way and it'll run you more than $300.

for $300 get a Y-pipe

i agree ... you won't pass inspection so you're gonna have to switch it again to pass .... it's not worth it, like admax said just go with a y-pipe

1. Get Y PIPE!

2. Drive around STOMPING on Hondas.

3. Pass emmissions. Go to next steps...

4. CAI, RT CAT, Greddy SP, and UDP.

5. See *2.

6. Keep your stock muffler stored in your garage
Because when you reach this point...you will understand.
