Can It Be Done!!

Can the 6 Speed 5th Gen Tranny fit in to the 4th gen. Is there anyway to make this fit. Help i need someones opion who is farmiliar with trannies.

go to nissan and check the bolt pattern of where the trannies mate to the motor.

Just go to parts and talk with them, SOME nissan dealerships have willing people to help.

Your biggest problem may be that the Nissan 6-speed transmission is cable shift, while the 5-speed is not.

EXACTLY. And so, the question "can it be done?" results in "yes, it can, but it'll be SO EXPENSIVE that you'd be better off just getting a 6speed Maxima".
