OK, its not that important, but, how far does your car remote work?

Because mine works from well over 100 feet...probably closer to 500 feet...I've even been on the 17th floor of a condo and I got my car to lock...

Do others have such a wide-range for their remotes?

just curious....

mine kinda sucks right now...same battery has been in it for close to 5 years and it's been used many times, but still works...but after trying it today, i couldn't get farther than about 5-6 cars down in a parking lot

yup same here, not more than 5 cars away

i don't think mine's the factory one, cuz it only has 2 buttons. but it was installed by the dealer anyway.

My 96 original remote with original battery works about 15 cars away in a parking lot. If I touch the remote with my neck as an antenna, it works further away.

Mine work up to a few hundred feet if I have line of sight...if there is anything in the way though I need to be within 50' or so.

yea my friend showed my the holding it to the neck or under the chin trick to make it work from further, mine can work even without that from a good 50 feet...andby the way, the stock nissan remote has 4 buttons, including the big gray one
