hey i was just wondering a while back ago i was reading a few threads going about haveing another carbon fiber hood made by a different shop. it seems fiber images is the only company for us maximas i think they look pretty nice but i have seen a lot better as far as cf hoods are concerned. who was that that was trying to get this going and what is the progress. i think the thread sort of died out but i am pretty interested in a cf hood.

 

My friend owns bodykits northwest. Not sure if you guys have heard of it, but it's a major kit/hood supplier. I've been bugging him about making me a hood, and he said if I get 10 orders prepaid, he will take the time to make the mold, ect...I will be the first, now we need 8 more (counting you ) I don't know any prices, but I'd expect 6-700 with shipping...

what about the quality of the work. cause there has been many fitment issues with carbon fiber hoods in the past for not only the maxima. i don't even think my friends cf hood on his integra has a good fit on it. guess it was a FI hood.
