Dent on Hood

What would you guys suggest that I do about a small dent on the front center of my hood? It takes a while for people to notice it, especially at night, but since its my MAX, it bothers the hell out of me. The estimate on it is like $400 or something. That is too much for such a small dent. I have seen some people tak a hammer to the inside of the hood, and some touch up paint and buff (if the paint on top happens to chip). But this is my baby and it kinda scares me. Opinions please.

Contact your local dent wizard paintless dent removal guys. They do awsome work and it's usually about 125 - 150 per pannel. Saves you 250 to buy more mods with.

If it's really small, underneaths of hoods are easily accessable, so it could even go down to $50 with the paintless dent removal. You could do it yourself (cut out the insulation under where the dent is and gently tap or push) but the possiblity of making it worse is high.
