AE pedals
AE pedals
Hey everybody,
So, whats the deal with the AE pedals for a 4th gen? Are they a direct bolt on? I tried doing a search, but its impossible since it ignores the term 'AE'.
Anyway, I saw a picture of them, and it looks like the gas pedal comes with the whole metal arm too, not just the pedal itself, which might make it harder to install. Has anybody installed these on a 4th gen? Thanks for any info

I've looked before and you can find plenty of info that way
The 5th gen AE pedals fit perfectly on my A/T '95. The gas pedal is the whole assembly with the arm and mounting bracket, but it was very easy to install.
The brake pedal was much more difficult because the rubber lips are very stiff. I put the pedal in a pot of boiling water for 10-15 minutes to soften it and sprayed some ArmorAll to make it slippery.

Do manual and auto cars have different gas pedals? How come mine didn't come with the arm?

But I bought my set just when they were introduced. That might be one reason.
