Well I just want to say at least you high schoolers have good taste in cars.

Most of the high schoolers I seen usually either all into Hondas or domestics. Mostly ricers too.

man - when i told my parents i wanted a car when i was 16 they laughed at me. freshman year of college they laughed at me again, i had to convince my parents that LIRR (long island rail road) sucked donkey nuts and they finally gave up...... my dad wants me to keep the car stock though =[ (too bad its not his car anymore though - mauhahah)

I basically paid for my car, mods, and insurance by working at QuikTrip as a part-timer.....$8.25 an hour, Mon-Sat, 35 hours a week. Just save and save, that's how I did it.

I'm a senior in college now, but when I graduated High School my parents traded in my riced out 626 for my brand spankin almost new 96 maxima. Thank you mom and dad. And have paid for insurance ever since I was 16. Mods on the other hand came from my ****ty jobs on and off every summer. The Supercharger was purchased by my father though in sympathy because he ****KED my car up.

I started driving my Dad's 97 SE at the end of Sophomore year (last year). I'm a Junior now and I've basically taken it over. I spent about 1000 dollars I made from a summer job on my stereo but haven't done any performance mods. The car is paid off and should be in my name soon. I pay for gas

Work full time while going to school, don't ask, busy schedule. It's not really a question of how we pay for it, if you think of it, we are capable of making a lot of money. The difference between us, (high school students) and you adults, we don't have to pay for major bills like houses, taxes, etc. etc. blah blah, well the majority of high school students still live with their parents, I'm imagining, but whatever. Every cent, well most of the money I make goes directly to my ride, just my .02 peace

I'm a senior (just graduated yesterday). I bought my car last year for $10,000, had 15,000 miles on it and completely stock. so far I've put in a CAI, greddy exhaust, kyb agx, progress springs, cattman y-pipe, high flow cat, front strut brace, rear sway bar, and clears all around. I've paid for everything including insurance (the 10 grand for the car sorta came from my grandparents and has been sitting in an account for 18 years) but for everything else, I work my *** off 40 hours a week, at $10 an hour, and I'm still broke. Sorta sucks but it's worth it.

Well i have a 97 GLE with 68000 miles on it (still a baby )I paid for everything myself and i was able to get it pretty cheap cuz my cousin owns an autobody shop and i bought it crashed and fixed it. it cost $2200 for it and invested about $3900 (2200+3900=6100) not bad when most dealerships want anywhere from $11000-$15000 for similar cars plus mine gets a brand new black paint job. It's fully loaded even got a freakin' garage door opener on the visor! (who the hell needs that) so since i saved some doe i guess i would invest it on some mods so i got a stillen intake, catback exhaust, some 18inch Chrome Giovanna corsicas (too heavy selling them and getting some racing wheels) and i guess i'll start putting some entertainment stuff in. i got plans for a couple or maybe a trio of tv's and some serious beat. right now i got more important things on my mind like college Yeah i paid for it all myself my parents pay insurance and yes i'm a high school senior and i have a decent job. this is random--MAXIMA back seats are the best...if you know what i mean and another random thing however i'm ****ed about this the other day i went into autozone and when i came out my driverside was keyed from the back quarter to the fender. Why are people such haters?????it's all good though.

I graduated eight days ago (I'm free!!!), and bought my '98 Maxima SE automatic three days ago for $13,000, after saving for 18 months. Now I'll work full time before going off to college so I can put some more money back into my account and afford insurance and gas. Insurance sure is expensive on Maximas... At least it's a lot more expensive than it was on my Altima.

be done with highschool in a week, im a senior, bought it for like 9 grand but after financing its a lil more, but nothing beats paying 156 a month after i put 5000 down. i bought it almost 2 years ago, but just started modding beginning of this year cuz i had to pay off a lot of fines(let's just say u dont touch my car unless u want a sledgehammer totalling ur car...im sure u have read my posts about that incident, not a pritty site) so i have a lot of payments for various things so i mod very slow, but i do it right, and dont do anything to the outside until everything is done internally, i hopefully should be boosting by next spring.

ok how do i afford this? honestly i knew i was gonna have to buy my own car so i started saving for one in lke 6th grade, ( paper route), then by the time i was 14 i started a semi-real job and by the time i was a Soph. in high school i had about 10k. Now i have a very good job for someone my age, and if i didnt goto school and work this job full time i would make about 30k a year, not great, but not bad, mind u i dont have and out side of high school education. These jobs r out there u just have to find em

I'm also currently a Junior in High School. I have about 3 more weeks of school left before I'm a Senior. Anyways, I bought my Maxima when I was 16. At that time, I was working 25-35 hours a week at a part-time after school job. I'm still working at the same place, and the same amount of hours, but I'm getting paid more now, which really helps with the modding.

When I bought my car, I put half down and I'm making monthly payments on the rest. The total cost was $15,000, and that was before any modifications. I paid for all of those myself too. I have about 1 year worth of payments done...and about 3 years left to go. I do plan to ease on the modding soon, so I can hopefully pay the car off before I go to college. I'm almost done. There's only a few more things that I want to buy anyway (yeah right)!

Later,
-Nick

I'll be finished with highschool as of the end of this month. Parents recently bought a 98 GLE (with 32,000 KMS at the time) back in the winter for $11,500 US. Right now, my parents are paying for insurance, gas ect. but after I graduate and move on to college, I have to find a job, the car will be turned over to me, and I'm going to start paying for the cars needs, and possibly payin off the rest of the car's payments.
It's pretty much stock right now, but once I start paying for it, I'll start modding it then.

I'm a junior right now, and I bought my car when I was in 10th grade. I bought my 1995 GLE for $8700, but since then put over $3000 into repairs (long story), and about $2000 in mods. They include 2 Alpine 10" subs, RF amp, DC clears, Trenz grille, 2001 GLE rims with Toyos, tint, WSP y pipe, custom b pipe, Stillen SS exhaust, FSTB and Stillen intake.

I saved my money from like 6th grade for no real reason, and started mowing a bunch of lawns in like 8th grade. Each summer I make about $1500 mowing lawns, plus this summer I have an internship at NIH and I'm getting paid over $8 and hour....

I had an RX-7 in high school, I still have it. an old 86, it was "cool" a few years back.

I got my Maxima when I graduated in 1997. My parents paid for it since it was a graduation present. Drove it throughout college most of the time.

Now I have a newer RX-7 to add to my collection

I just remembered there was a basketball player who drove a 95-96 Supra TT 6 speed and also a Benzo from time to time. Either he had connections or sold dope.
