How about pics of the regular black gauges with chrome rings? I have chrome gauge rings in the mail now, so I guess I'll know what it looks like in few days. Some pics would be nice though.

they look good in the pic if you ask me but i agree with what others say they look so much better in person, the look cool at night too.

the install was really easy, i printed off the directions on www.maximadriver.com how2 section on installing indiglo gauges it had step by step picture of how to remove the gauge cluster. very helpful.

They Haynes Manual shows you how to remove the cluster, guess I will follow that. One other guy posted that he had a problem with the fitting of the rings, did you have that problem?

did you guys really have to drop the steering column and remove the cover under it? I have taken the entire dashboard out of a 4th gen a while ago, i remember doing something different to get to the cluster..
Matter of fact, I think I'm going to go install the chrome gauge rings right now..

The Cefiro Chrome Gauge Rings should be PERFECT fit for 4th Gen Maxima (A32).

A32= 4th Gen
A33= 5th Gen

If not, it's because the rings (from e-bay or another org member) designed the rings to accomandate both 4th and 5th Gen Maxima's and the TEMP and FUEL rings on the 5th are a bit smaller than the 4th gen.

So with my Cefiro Chrome Gauge rings where it fits our 4th Gen perfectly, but the 5th Gen Maxima would have to shave/grind down their OEM black plastic bezel to accommadate these Cefiro Chrome Gauge Rings.

It's easier and will work for Cefiro Rings to fit A32 perfectly and minor modification to fit A33's. But it would be hard to work in reverse (to get the A33 Rings to fit A32's)

If you have purchase the Cefiro Chrome Gauge Rings from me and doesn't fit. I would be glad to take a look and exchange a set for you. Please contact me!

Thank you

SY~

I just installed mine
what a difference,
definately add a nice touch to the interior. I hit myself on the head when lowering the steering column Then I couldn't align it right so it is still remained easily adjustable.. but it's easy to put these in.

The chrome rings make a huge improvement (IMO) on the black-faced gauge clusters. It looks similar to a 330 BMW's cluster except of course BMW's gauge surrounds look like cheap, dull "titanium" paint.

Does anybody have the chrome guage rings AND an aluminum bezel installed on a 4th gen max that has the STOCK black guages... There is one with this done on white face guages, but there's none with the regular ones...

Thanks
