help! Sevice Engine light just came on!!

Two nights ago, I went out to test my top speed. Everything seem normal, I got it up pass 130 as usual. About 20 mins later, I was sitting at a drive thru and all of the sudden my engine light came on, wtf??? What could be the problem. I am schedule to take it to the dealership on Tues but I'm anxious to find out what is wrong. Is there a way to diagnois it myself?? any suggestions would be great. thanx in advance.

similar incident happened to me too while driving last month, the SES (Service Engine Soon) light came on and stayed on for a few days then went off by itself, did you check that your fuel cap is on tight? Sometimes it's the simplest things such as a loose fuel cap that cause the SES light to come on. If I were you, I'd keep an eye on your SES light within the next 5 days and if it doesn't turn off then I would worry.

OMFG!

Do people not read or something?

The title of this thread is identical to a thread up top with the word "Important" in front of it!

Why do I even bother having stickies?
