-=Smog Time=-

Hey guys, smog time is coming in about a month, I talked to the guys at a local jiffy lube and they dont put a sensor in the muffler, instead he said something bout a sensor that he plugs into the computer to make sure the cat, egr valve, maf and a few other things are working. I've got a intake, greddy, and y pipe. I know that intake and greddy wont be a prob, but i don't know if that y pipe will make me lose 40 bucks because of the new system. Do I still just have the car warmed up or what?

Not from experience...but from what Ive read...as long as your car is warm you should be fine. I think the precats in the y keep emissions low when the car is warming up. So, after the car is warm they have no purpose...I think.

I know that, but I think they are referring to the test where they stick that fat sensor into ur tailpipe..... anyone know from experience?

All that is going to do is read emissions...and your y should not affect it whatsoever.
