4 those w/ KYB struts

From what I heard, these are even better struts than stock, but out of curiousity, those that have KYB's installed on thier max's, are you happy w/ them, and would you recommend them?

Re: 4 those w/ KYB struts

Make yourself happy. Buy the 4-way adjustable shocks (AGX). You will be 100 satisfied. Problem with single damping struts is either you are happy, or you wished you had gotten adjustables so that you can tune your ride as you please. Pay the extra little bit of $$$ and you'll be a lot happier.

Second best purchase that I ever made...only to the Y Pipe.

The ride is solid/firm, confident. Feels like a brand new car.
Sort of like a Gran Turismo Suspension MOD. Braking was much enhanced.
Off ramp King...people trying to tailgate in the offramp can no longer keep up...the swerve off the road..Amazing.

Adjustability makes it that much more fun.
$340 off Ebay and $200 install. Worth every penny.

There is no better shock/strut for the Maxima at this point. Get them.

Have the KYB AGX's & love 'em. If you don't need/want the adjustability, or prefer to save some dough, just get the KYB GR2's - you'll be happy w/ either.

I recommend the AGX without any hesitation.

AGX is OK, on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 6 or so. Its unfortunate its the best/only adjustable for this car, as AGX is usually referred to as an economy adjustable.

I installed AGX's about 3 weeks ago. Each week I adjust the settings up one notch to get a feel for each setup and to help determine where I want to leave them for daily driving. I'm more and more impressed with the ride each time I've made adjustments.

So far, they get two thumbs up from me.
