Thanks for everyones help...just drove home in my new Maxima!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to the people that gave me some information I was looking for. I just picked up a 99 sterling mist Maxima SE-L 5 speed with black/gray cloth interior, sunroof, bose, power seat, Homelink. I love the car even after the 7 hour drive home Now on to the modding fun! RSB, and Ypipe here I come!

That's great and great choices for your first Mods, but don't forget the FSTB.

I ended up paying $14,750 and they threw in a 2 year warranty because the website had the wrong mileage (it said 41,000, the car had 45,000 when I got their). It's in perfect condition and I had a mechanic look at it and he said everything looks like it's in good shape and the clutch was strong.

Yeah I was actually happy it had more miles since I got the new warranty because of it. After I found out about the mileage I told them I would only pay 14,000 instead of 15,000, they said the lowest they could go was 14750 w/a 2 year warranty added on. Which by my calculations is a better deal then what I was asking for because they told me a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty would be an extra $950! I drove away a happy man!

Yup bose w/o leather. I don't know why people say bose is crappy. I was planning on new speakers but now I'm going to wait awhile cuz I'm happy w/bose. it bumps pretty good to the new Eminem Show cd.

Congrats on your purchase...you picked a good color car That's a pretty good price you paid. A year ago I paid $16K for mine, but it came standard with a 100K mile 7 year Nissan certified warranty for no extra $$$. I would have liked to have the SE-L but they didn't have one on the lot...so I settled for the GXE.

Have fun & good luck!

I agree on the color and the car! My first mod was a RSB, just put it on 4 days ago and I love it! Have fun with the car!
