i was on my way to work today and i am taking it easy and all of a sudden i see this beamer close on me real quick, he started tailgating me and it looked like an M3 from the front. at the time i was not in the mood to play but the guy would not get off my butt. so exiting a turn a throw it into 2nd and punched it. i guess i caught him sleeping cause as i shifted into 3rd he was 2-3 car lengths behind me. we take a long curve and by the end i notice i am going nearly 90. i then look up and this guy is 6-7 car lengths behind me i finally slowed down and he is on my rear again! so i drive like grandma(he cant pass me 2 lanes). finally, we get to four lanes and he passes me (it was an M3 late ninties). by the way i am in a bone stock 97 se 5spd. I know that guy wanted another chance but i sure as hell was satisfied!

 

good job Wilbur.. but maybe it wasn't an M3... maybe you should be calling the M police

 

it was an M3 stinknugget, part of the reason he might of been so far away was because his ***** were not screwed on tight enough to take that turn as fast as i did. by the way, tell all these guys about all the times i have beat u at the track!

 

What year M3 was it? if it was a E46, I think even with his eyes closed his car will have enough torque to catch up

 

it was a newer one, i'm guessing late ninties...maybe his eyes were closed

E36 M3's are fast off the line with all that TQ. We've played with one on the freeway and 3 maximas[95(modded), 2k2 & 2k Both stock autos) and an I30(97, modded). He didn't shake us I stayed at his doors up past 120-125 when we ran into traffic. A stock M3 ins't all that especially in a rolling drag race. Let us get in some corners I'm sure he would own us. I guess they are better than I give them credit for, We were modded to hang with an M3.

 

Stock vs. stock you'll get owned. If you tweaked your suspension, you'll earn his respect. If he can drive, he'll still beat you though.
