this kid who likes my girlfriend thinks his new car is the ****. is most certainly is not though. sure it looks nice, but not as good as my max anyway he has an automatic rsx. its not a type S, just a plain old auto rsx, im an auto 96 with place racing CAI, he is stock, he thinks he would kill me now correct me if im wrong but..... i will hand his own a** to him from any starting point correct?

we agreed it would be a fair race, no juice or anything, his stock rsx auto against my max auto with CAI, and he still thinks he can beat me o and get this, he called my girlfriend and she told him that i would beat him, cuz shes riddin in both cars and he says "well wait til i get my exhaust, intake and 50 shot" i said when i are u getting that, he said "with in the next year" to which i replied "i'll have a supercharger by then" tehn we can see what happens

 

here's what i think will happen. you will kill him just like i killed my friends gsr. man i was dissapointed.
i didnt even have to floor it. i didnt even keep the gas on, i let off several times. and on the second run, i shifted to 4th at like 60 mph
basically , youre going to play with him like a toy
then, after you beat him, be real mushy with your girl right in front of him.

weights about 300 pounds less than us, its hp is 10 more than ours but its torque is only 147 compared to our 205 and both FWD...the type-s will give u a great race and more than likely beat u...but if u got CAI and y-pipe, you'll hand his buttocks to him...even wit type-s

 

What was your girl doing riding in his car?!? Just kidding man. You will give him quite a romping, (as long as his car isn't modified). My little brother raced a stock RSX (stick)in his max (auto) the other night at the track. He spanked it! And the biggest speed mod he has is a woodgrain dash, and 2 12inch W7's, lol. Don't worry bro, you'll get to keep your girl and your pride.

BTW, maybe you should wait for your new exhaust and 50 shot until you race him, just to add to the embarresment. Race him twice, once before, then tell him you took your CAI out so your car is stock, and race him again with the NOS, lol.

 

well he's talking about a rsx NON-typeS....so there's no fear...and it does not have 10more hp

and yes, the typeS is pretty quick

A 5spd Maxima should have no problem with a GSR. It's better match for an auto Maxima. And then, it's up to the driver of the GSR.

I think you should be able to take him. I raced a GSR with i/e/h and we were basically even throughout the race. I'm an auto though. So with your 5spd, you should take him.

 

holy crap ppl, so much hype about the RSX.

Basically, base RSX is NO MATCH for auto/5spd maxima.

RSX Type S would get raped @ launch but would pull up quick at a higher gear... but w/ mods it's beatable.

The RSX Type S is slow i raced 3 of them in one day in my 97 maxima , they took me off the line but after that it was over.

 

What mods do you have if any? Are you auto or 5 speed? RSX type S is a pretty quick 4 banger and I don't think you're giving it enough credit. I'm pretty sure they're quicker than a stock 4th or 5th gen. auto, but 5 speeds are a different story. With mods though, they can be had.
