Performance Chips

Alright, I have ANOTHER question

I've got a '98 Maxima SE Automatic (bought it three days ago)

Performance chips... on an automatic, would it change my shift points, therefore giving me a faster 0-60 time? What about horsepower? Would that increase?

What else can a performance chip do? Where is the best place to get them, and how much do they usually run (cost)?

If you want to improve shifting get a stick shift, otherwise, do a valve body upgrade job!!

i did some looking around because i drive a '95 auto. it sounds to me like the chip for the auto just tightens up the shifts, because if yours is like mine, there is some lag in when shifting. that's at least how i understood it but i'm sure if you look around, you'll see 5000 different explainations. i have the dragon intake, stillen cat back, and warpspeed y-pipe, and next i'm gonna go with the Jim Wolf Technology tranny chip and see for myself what happens.
as far as getting the fuel: air ratio remapped, i've heard both too. but i think that'll be after the trans chip
i hope this little bit was able to help...
