Ignition Wires

Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement of the plug wires? I'm switching out my spark plugs and want to replace the wires as well.

Does Accel have wires for our cars? (I have a 98)

I know that replacing the wires wont improve perfomance, but I'd like a good set... preferrable yellow.

Any Ideas?

Actually electronic ignition doesn't automatically mean "no ignition wires". The VE and VQ equipped maximas feature an electronic ignition system that utilizes individual coil on each plug technology. It's this technology that dispenses with the need for high voltage carrying ignition wires. This is why this gentleman can't change ignition wires because there none to replace.

I didn't say that all electronic ignition systems don't require wires. I said we(4th Gens... a la the forum ) have an electronic ignition which does not require wires.

ignition coils

the 4th gen max has ignition coils. there are 2 different manuafactures, hanshin and mastu****a. there are 2 different lengths, shorter for rear bank and longer in front. there are about $50-70 each at the dealer. that comes out to $300-400 for the set. i know this cause one of mines went bad, luckily the dealer replaced all 6 under warrantee. i don't believe they come in other colors besides black.
