ok, sometimes when i start the car, i hear this ticking sound like 5 times, pretty much like this.."tick tick tick tick tick" coming from the engine and then it just stops. Do any of u guys know what this is?? What could be the deal??

 

mine sounds like it is coming from my idle air control valve

could also be the starter, thats bad but hard to tell. They're also pretty expensive.

 

It's the IAC valve bringing your idle to the right spot. When you start the car up cold, your idle jumps to around 1800 RPM's then the IAC valve starts slowly "stepping" (tic tic tic) down to bring the idle to somewhere around 1300 - 1500 RPM's

It's normal.
