NEW/UNKNOWN ECU Error Codes?

A question for those ECU Error code experts. I have a 98 SE Canadian Maxima. I get an ECU error code of 0409 which I am having a hard time finding an explanation for. I have gone to http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecudecoder.html and there isn't one listed for 0409. Anybody know what this means? My dealer wants to charge me $75 just to diagnose the problem! I went to maximadriver.com and there is one listed there (front O2 sensor, B1), but many others are missing so I'm wondering how accurate/complete this list is, plus it doesn't specify what year those codes are for. I don't know if there are different codes for Canadian Maximas as well. The car drives fine, and I'm wondering if I'm causing any damage. Thanks in advance!

The Haynes manual says:
Upstream Oxygen sensor circuit slow response fault (right bank)
So that seems to agree with what you've found already.

Thanks for your help! That just saved me the outrageous $75 diagnostic fee. My car only has 45K miles on it and I thought it was kind of strange that an O2 sensor is dead so soon. Anybody else experience this?

I've been getting this same error code lately...Nissan pulled the code for me as well and said it was the bank one oxygen sensor. Did you replace yours? Did it fix the problem??

I've gotten the same 0409 error code earlier this week, yet my SES light has been intermittent (stays on for a while, then turns off by itself), so would davey's description of that error code be accurate as to what prob. I may have,

mine is a 98 SE Auto. w/ almost 78.5K on it so would it be time for that O2 sensor or sensors to start going?
