whisting sound when idle

whisting sound when idle

my max has bout 112k and whenever its idle even for 1 second it starts whisting or a sounds like someone blowing to a bottle anyone know what it could be it??
cuz its really loud and annoying

Dude, I have the same noise. Cant figure it out either.

Mine only happens when the car ia fully warmed up.

Lasts for approx 2 mins. happens just before the cooling fan comes on. After the fan turns off the noise stopps. It returns again just before the fans start up again.

Seems to be on the pass side of the motor.........

I used to have that noise. It used to come on when the car was warmed up and would stay there. It would go away if I reved the the engine but would return as soon as engine speed hit idle. It went away after I got my oil changed.

go figure.
