2) Timing chain, should last life of engine.
3) Do you have the Blose system or just the normal radio/CD?

1.About the airbag light I would be weary of that because they do that if they arent reset after being deployed. Culd just be an electrical error though, in that case you never know when it might hit you in the face.
2.Already answered
3. How exactly do you mean defective? If it's Bose I do believe that the indevidual amps are located there. As a side note the screws then to need tightening over time or they may fall out. Happened to me. I looked in my trunk and the houing was hanging down.

do a search or look on one of the stickies...should show u how to reset the light...

timing chain...
3. rear speakers with a black housing mounted underneath, is that a crossover for the speakers? whatever it is, mine is defective
if u have bose system then that is ur individual amps...if u don't then i would guess it's just a cover...

i do have the Bose system, i tried swapping the left & right amplifiers for the rear speakers and the right side is definitely blown. I have to look into this air bag situation more, how much should i expect the dealer to charge for this?
I dont know which trim level i have, there are no logos in the back other than the MAXIMA logo, but ill do a search and see what i come up with. Thanks

ok my air bag problem has been resolved. Now, about the timing belt /chain... why does my owners manual say to replace the "timing belt for driving the camshafts."?
