New poster so go easy on me. I did try the searches before posting this.
I picked up a '95 Maxima SE on Saturday. 5-speed, 109k miles, great steoro system - great car. Well after cruising around a bit, the oil indicator light (oil pressure) flickered on me but went away. Today, check engine light came on. Nissan's diagnostic showed that o2 sensors (3) and knock sensors need replacing. When they lift the car, they discover oil leaking from timing chain cover and now I am told that I need a new timing chain, and all that goes along with that. Is this a sign that the previous over didn't change the oil on time? Is this the reason that the oil pressure light flickered? Now I am thinking about fixing the car and selling it. Any advice anybody can give will be greatly appreciated.

Before I spent any money I would explore returning the vehicle from where you got it. Did it come with any warranty, ie. 30 days or 1000 miles. I would also explore legal remedies. Just my thoughts!
Good luck.
